Refurbished in 2006 to firstly become the 'Morning Glory' was extremely controversial for the Morningside area. After some debating the name was then changed to the 'Morningside Glory' which has been accepted within the community. The bar in its former 'glory' was known as the Hermitage (and still in some ways is).
The views from the bar are second to none. No where else in Edinburgh/Scotland can you sit and quite literally watch the world pass you by quite like here. Sank into one of the many beautiful leather sofas it sometimes is quite hard to convince yourself to get back out of it again.
Whatever the occasion, whatever the time of day. For coffee, lunch, drinks, birthday party, nibbles, cocktails.... this is the place to slowly enjoy!
